Power Paper's Printed Battery
Power Paper's core technology is based on an innovative green, thin and flexible printable battery. This battery serves as a technology enabler that can be employed by wide range of applications requiring a thin and flexible power source. The battery is environmentally benign as it does not contain heavy metals such as Mercury, Lead and Cadmium.
In addition there are no safety events or over-heating in case of battery abuse or mechanical damage. Accordingly there are no safety limitations for shipment, packaging storage and disposal. The battery is developed using printing technology, on a plastic substrate, without the need of battery metallic casing. All battery components are printable, based on Power Paper's unique proprietary inks. Since the battery may be printed in various shapes and sizes, it can be easily customized, adapted or integrated into the final product. Batteries can be designed according to application requirements in terms of size, capacity and voltage.
